At the start of the playoffs 16 nations gathered to prove the world which one of them is the best. After many long battles, two teams managed to come out on top to reach the final stage of this tournament!

Russia were expected to fight against each other once again for the title, it seems that it wont happen, at least not this time.
Sweden, who placed 3rd in MYM PN #1s, was not able to maintain their position, as they lost to their biggest rival, Denmark.

Ukraine has improved a lot in the scene. Just recently at ASUS Winter 2008, two Ukrainian teams made it far in the playoffs and they've been delivering impressive wins this tournament. They managed to blow past Denmark and are now ready for Russia.
